Your pets stay comfortable in their own space while you're away, with consistent care from someone who knows what they're doing.
Pet sitting means I come to your home to care for your animals while you're gone, whether that's for a weekend trip, a work conference, or an extended vacation. Your pets stay in their own environment, sleep in their own beds, and follow their normal routines. For most animals, that continuity makes all the difference.
I've been doing this since 1989, and I've worked with dogs, cats, birds, rabbits, reptiles, and more. I know how to read behavior, spot early signs of stress or illness, and adapt my approach to each animal's personality. Some pets are thrilled to see me the moment I walk in. Others need time to warm up. I work with both.
Boarding facilities can be overwhelming for anxious or older pets. The noise, the unfamiliar smells, and the disruption to their routine often causes more stress than the separation itself. With pet sitting, your dog or cat stays home, stays calm, and gets individual attention instead of competing with dozens of other animals.
No Illness Exposure
Flexible Scheduling
Individual Attention
You also don't have to worry about exposing them to illness or dealing with last-minute availability issues at a kennel. And if your pet is senior, has mobility challenges, or needs medication on a strict schedule, in-home care gives you much more control and consistency.
Before your trip, we meet at your home so I can learn your pet's routine, where everything is kept, and what your expectations are. I take detailed notes, get copies of your vet's contact information, and make sure I understand any medical or behavioral needs.
While you're away, I visit according to the schedule we agreed on—once a day, twice a day, or overnight stays if needed. I'll feed, walk, play, administer medications, clean litter boxes, water plants, bring in mail, and rotate lights. I send updates and photos so you know everything's fine. And if something seems off, I contact you immediately and handle it.
When you return, your home is just as you left it, and your pets are relaxed instead of rattled. That's the goal every single time.
Meals served on schedule, dietary needs followed, bowls cleaned
Daily walks, playtime, and activity tailored to your pet's energy level
Pills, injections, topical treatments—administered exactly as prescribed
Clean litter boxes, accident cleanup, and waste disposal
Regular check-in messages and photos so you know they're doing great
Bring in mail, water plants, rotate lights—your home looks lived-in
Let's talk about your pet's routine and what you need. I'll answer your questions and we'll make sure this is the right fit.
